We're Gather, formerly known as Vancity Tech Women, a group of women working in tech that organize fun, casual social and charitable events for other women in the industry. 100% donation-and-sponsorship run, all of our events' proceeds go to a local nonprofit/charity. Our mission is to create fun, no-pressure events where women in tech can come together as strangers and leave as friends, all while doing good for the community.
With the launch of our new brand, we're kicking things off with a party! We're keeping this one very casual at Skyrocket Digital where we will provide drinks and snacks, and Kei Ogasawara (co-organizer @ Gather & lead designer @ Skyrocket Digital) will give a brief presentation on how the brand came together.
All proceeds will be going to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB). The Greater Vancouver Food Bank is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food and related assistance to those in need.

Doors will be open from 6:30pm, with the visual identity presentation happening at 7pm.
To get to the Skyrocket office, please buzz #0301. The office is on the third floor, accessible by stairs or an elevator which is located at the back of the building.
Tickets are $5 and a we ask that you bring a non-perishable food item, both as donations to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
We have limited capacity at Skyrocket, so please RSVP if you're planning to come. If something comes up and you're no longer able to make it, please release your ticket on Eventbrite. This will allow someone else to take your place. We'll be a bit diligent at the door for looking at tickets to ensure all who RSVP get first dibs.
There will be self-serve refreshments for guests.
